How to enable valet 2016 Explorer

Help. I have a 2016 Explorer. I recently changed the battery and it reset the alarm. It was in valet mode for a long time and I don't know how enable the valet mode again. I have to now enter a 4 digit code and the pound sign before turning the egnition key. Can someone please help. I've attached a pic of the keypad. Thank you.

That looks aftermarket. You might try contacting whoever put that in.

As mentioned above, that is not an OEM device. The manual describes how to use the valet mode using the OEM equipment. After changing the battery, did you let the vehicle sit undisturbed for 8 hours and was the BMS reset to erase the old battery stored info?
