How to get some extra "kick" from a 96 v8 5.0l

I was curious if there is any cheap way to get a little extra "kick" from my engine. It's a 1996 awd v8 5.0l explorer.

hmmm not really!

Your biggest restriction right now is your exhaust manifolds
the Torque Master headers are not cheap, but they are the first mod to do on a 5.0L explorer IMO, +24 HP bolt on

Cheaper mods include:
cold air intake
cat back exuast
intake spacer

computer tune (getting more $$$ now)

One of the best mods I did to my V8 96 was the 4406 t case, after the headers of course

With 2wd, the TMHeaders, intake, exhaust, and a E-303 cam my 96 screams compared to a stock 4 door pig
