How to know 27 spline outer axle

I want to convert my X from Auto Hubs to Manual Hub with the WARN 29071 Locking hubs with WARN 32720 spindle nut conversion kit and KD 2467 socket.

This kit is for a 27 spline outer axle. How can I know if I have a 27 spline outer axle on my X.

Well, the best way would be to remove one front tire, slip off the auto hub, and physically count the splines.

Or search around on the site, but maybe you did that already.

I believe it is 27 spline. Are those part numbers for a 91-94 Ex?

Yes the parts for a 91-94 Explorer... It should be 27 splines!

What is causing you to think yours is not 27 spline?

I'd assume he is just trying to be safe and not buy a kit that won't fit his Explorer, then he is out some $$. I'd assume the shop that you are buying the kit from should be able to tell you also what the stock spine size is.
