Everyone i know who has owned or known someone who owns a four door explorer has had the trouble with broken door handles this ussally accounts to one of to things
1. A broken u clip on the door handle which means a whole new handle which can be picked up for 7 dollars a pair from a local junkyard
2. The more common problem of a bent bar that connects the door handle the the opening device.
The best way to fix this is to remove the two screws holding on the door panel,poping the panel peeling away the sound proofing and straiting out the rod or you can also shortin the rod so that the door opens sooner
