i I have a spinning sound or whine you can call it when I start to slow down at the 60KM speed. The rev gauge goes all the way down and as soon as I tap on the gas it goes away. i was looking on you tube with cars and trucks with simillar noises and one guy said torqeing up the nut on the rear axle pinion solved his problem. The problem started when I pulled my tent trailer with it. Can someone give me step by set instructions how to find this nut. Is it behing the big diff pan that all the gears are in?

Same noise I have in my front end, pinion bearing.I doubt if the nut is loose and if you overtighten it you are looking for trouble as it will change the preload of the pinion.

Get a haynes manual and do some reading, this is probably not something you want to fool with,I say that because it's obvious you don't know much about cars, not picking on you just trying to keep you from costing yourself big bucks.:D
