Hi,
This forum has always been a great help to me, I need help again and here is my question:-
I need to replace the master window switch (as suggested by repair shop) because my passenger side window goes down only from the driver side button and goes up only from the passenger side button.
He told me the cost of new switch would be ~$140 and he would charge me for an hour’s labor which is $90.
So, I am thinking of giving it a shot myself. So, can you please guide me step by step with precautions:-
1. How to open the door panel.
2. What all wires/other things need to be disengaged and how.
3. How to take the old switch out and put in the new one.
Please explain to me as I am a beginner and have never tried to repair anything by myself, but in this rough time, I am trying to save some bucks if I can.
Thanks.
