How to restore center console arm rest?

Hey all,

Prepping my 2020 Explorer Platinum to. be sold.
The Center console has this weird finish that imo looks like damage to a top protective layer. Any ideas how to restore it?
Gave it a real good scrub with saddle soap and a towel but that didn't affect it at all.
I'm guessing its damage from sunscreen or my wifes skin serums or something.

A new one is like $400 and I don't really think it'd be worth full replacing

You might send an email to someone like Detailers Domain, or Detailed Image and see if they have a recommendation for product and procedure to use. Sunscreen leaves a white film/residue that is very difficult / impossible to remove after a day or so.

I installed an armrest cover purchased on Amazon for about $25.
There are a number to chooses from.
