How to set the kickdown cable?

I believe the way to set it is to get someone to sit in the truck, and someone under the hood presses the clip in while the person in the truck puts the pedal to the floor. then release the clip on the kickdown, and its all set.

Go under the hood, push the little half circle shaped button where the cable comes through the fire wall. While pushing the button, pull the cable out (away from the firewall) as far as you can. Get back in the truck and push the pedal down as far as you can. You should here some clicks as it adjusts itself. That's it.
