Hi

For those of you that want to take apart your headlights this is a little tutorial, sorry cause i'll not post pics, but they are not needed. I did it cause i want to remove the cap in the center to have better output from my HID's.

You just have to remove your headlights and remove from then all the mounting parts (dont know if this is necesary, but i prefer to prevent) and take out the four clips.

Pre-heat your oven for 5 min in about 400F, put your headlights into the oven, you dont have to be afraid (i was but then it was like a brezze), put there for about 5-10 min or until you se the clear part take apart from the other, YES it takes apart by itself, that way you know is time to take it out and just use a flat screw driver to finish the job.

Do whatever you want with your headlights and use some industrial silicon to seal then back, put a line of silicon in the complete asambly so you dont miss any spot, put the clear part again and the nice thing about eX is that the clips will serve to make preassure to the headlights so they get completly seal, i put about 10 lb over then as soon as i mount the clips jsut to make sure the get completly seal, let then rest for about 2 hours before mounting then again to permit to the silicon to dry better.

Hope this help some one.

Can you get pics? What do you mean removed the "cap" to have better output of the HID's?

The center piece in the headlight that one that looks like a little hat. With that on you get spots of light, when you take it out you get a more natural patch of light.
