I got the front wipers off really easy, gonna paint them, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the back one off.

I also found one screw on the front where the wiper cowl thing is but I can't seem to pull it out? seems like it stuck or something.

Not on the '97- it has a similar tilt function to the front wipers:

That tab inside needs to be pressed out while you pull the arm off.

If it won't move, it is likely severely crusted to the spline... Some take a massive amount of prying, pulling, and swearing... :)

The front cowl snaps in after removing that screw. Pull it carefully... Also watch for the windshield washer nozzles- there are VERY delicate clips holding them. If you pull to far it will break the tabs and you won't have anything to hold your nozzles to the cowl.

Clips are in yellow, nozzle in red. Other side will be similar...

Isn't that the truth... lol!

with the clip in red i took the metal piece off instead of the plastic clip it was fairly easy to take off and it made it even easier to put it back on
