How to tell what Gen?

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer, this may be a dumb question but how do I tell what Gen Explorer I have?

1st Gen: 1991-1994
2nd Gen: 1995-2001 (Some EARLY 95's were still 1st gens (2001-2003 redesigned Sport model)
3rd Gen: 2002-2005
4th Gen: 2006+

2nd Gen 2001-2003 Sport:

4th Gen:

The 2nd gens have 3 different bodystyles, first 2 mainly being some features on the outside, front bumper, rear bumper, and liftgate.

1995-1997:

1998-2001 (Except "Sport")

2001-2003 Redesigned bodystyle Sport model (Mainly same interior)

Nah man your not stupid lol, I never knew about "gens" before I had my explorer lol I would just call them different bodystyles
