What is the, or the best way to remove the motor mounts in my 4.0? Do I take loose the bolt that goes thru the k member on the bottom side? Or do I do the top side bolt, or the part that bolts to the side of the block? I got tired when I got to this point, and had to call it a day. I suppose things are looking good for my first complete R&R (rip out and replace)! Thanks in advance for anyone who may be able to help!

the 4 nuts on the underside of the engine cradle (crossmember) will release the motor mounts from the frame yes.

Or you can unbolt them from above, if you can get access to the nuts on the top of the motor mounts.

Are you jsut trying to replace the engine mounts?? or are you pulling the engine?

I am pulling the complete engine. (4.0 auto 93 exp) The current engine has over 220,000 miles and 4 of the 6 plugs were wet upon removal. It was overheated bad, and the oil level was a quart low now its about 2 quarts above full, due to the water draining into it. I have a complete 4.0 ready to go back in. About the mounts I only seen 1 bolt on each underside of the engine cradle, If I remember correctly they were 19mm.
