i kno there are a billion herculiner or rhino lining threads, but i didnt really see anything about how strong they were? My question is.. If you put enough coats of rhino lining on something, could it be bulletproof? hehe, I'm thinking about that because I was planning on bulletproofing my truck that way! haha j/k.. its a idea though?

rhino, herc, whatever, is not strong enough to be bulletproof, but it will prevent scratches from shopping carts rolling into your truck and things like that

It all depends on how you prep it. i herculined my interior and rockers a couple of weeks ago and so far so good but time will tell. a friend of mine herculined his bed and the stuff is coming off real easy but he only used a scotch bright pad and acetone. I got a heavy duty scotch bright pad and cleaned everything with xylene and it seems to have stuck real well.

kevlar must be expensive though..

My herc'ed brushguard has been put through a Chicago winter and come out unscathed... My rockers are also in the same condition they were the day I herc'ed them (except for a little fade from UV)...

I am going to do the wiper arms and roof rack in the next couple of weeks.
