How wide are 3rd gen wheels?

The Limited wheels to be exact? This is on a lowered truck but Im wanting to know how wide the wheels are and how wide of a tire I can put on it. I want to say the wheel is 7" wide, anyone know for sure? And would a 12" wide or so tire fit on that wheel?

I think a lot of it would depend on how tall the tire is going to be and how much sidewall you will have. If there is not a lot of sidewall, it probably would not work too well, if at all. What size tires were you looking to go with?

Well I dont know, dont want to really be any taller than about 30" and as wide as possable.

Yeah you probably need at least an 8 inch wheel to go even 10.50 on the tires. Stock wheels no workie.

I know side wall has alot to do with it but you can run a 33x12.50 on a stock wheel... And Im not getting rid of these wheels, they are the only ones Ive found that I like.

What diameter are the wheels? 16"? 17"?

They are 17" x 7.5" with 38mm (1.5") offset.

I think the widest I would go with those rims would be a 275 series tire, a 275/65/17 comes out to about 31", but will fit fine on those rims.
