i need help with this one hopefully you guys can help. i recently bought an alpine cda 7875 headunit off of a friend. he had this in his ranger so he gave me all wiring
adapters as well. i went to insall the other day and realized i needed to by pass the amp. so i asked at local
install shops about this and they sold me this install edge iecpsi2 sound adapter for premium sound systems.
it works fine however when car is running and you press any of the following (gas pedal, brake, turn signal, or windows/locks) it loses sound for a brief second and comes back on without ever losing power. i have no idea on why. ive installed many systems before but this one had me stumped. anybody have this happen to you and what corrected it. ive checked wiring dozens of times and cant come up with anything.

what i did, was just use the stock amp...and it sounds fine to me... i just connected the blue wire on my HU to the blue 12v turn on wire in the car....works great for me...but other than that i have no idea...btw how hard was it to install the amp bypass??
