Husky / WeatherTech Floor and Cargo Liners

I just realized I'd forgotten about the 3rd row. Does Husky have plans to offer this? I don't recall seeing it mentioned.

In the meantime, I also have the Ford all weather mats ordered so maybe I can do something to make the 2nd row fit. Not sure if they provide carpet mats for the 3rd row or not.

Took the plunge and ordered the Husky's for first and second row and cargo area. I wish I wouldn't have ordered the OEM ones from Ford, but when I ordered it there were no aftermarkets available yet. Oh well, I guess I'll use the Ford ones to cover the third row area. Wish I had my EX to put them in, we'll see which one gets here first

I purchased the behind third row liner from www.realtruck.com for $80.75,with free shipping. This is the best price I could find. They have all the husky liners at good prices and very fast free shipping.

I tried your site www.realtruck.com but when you pick 2011 Ford on the drop down it wont let you pick Explorer.

I don't have mine yet but I noticed when ordering them that they have the same part numbers listed in the shopping cart as the ones on the Husky site so I hope they are the correct ones.

Exactly

Then I phoned they're (not Husky) customer support and asked if they could confirm part number for the 2nd row with buckets seats and console and the guy had no clue. He said call Husky.

Husky CS is closed till Monday

There is an issue with the 2nd row fitting because of the console. Husky is working the issue. I would stick with ordering direct from Husky as these other vendors know very little.

Well I don't have the 2nd row console and the Husky part number matches the original one that works without the console so I think mine will be fine. I will double check on my order and hope it is the same because it was considerably cheaper than ordering from Husky directly. I agree though if you have the 2nd row console you better double check if you get it from another vendor since the Husky site now asks you if you have the 2nd row console when you select it and I didn't get that prompt on the autoaccessoriesgarage.com site.

I pulled the trigger today on all of the Huskies...1st and 2nd row weatherbeater mats, cargo liner for the well behind the 3rd row, and the extended cargo liner when the 3rd row is stowed. Ordered from autoaccessoriesgarage.com. Also ordered a weathertech cargo liner for my wife's RX350, as they didn't have the right color in the Husky. So when they arrive, I'll have both products to compare side by side, at least for the cargo liners.

OK, mine is a 2003 and a Sport model, hoping they (Husky) make a cargo liner that covers the entire back area with the 2nd folded down so the liner would go from the back of the front seats all the way back. I just sent them an email using their contact us form.

I've already got WT in my Odyssey so when my Husky's come in, I'll provide my thoughts on quality comparison.

I also thought of a good use for the cargo (behind 3rd row) mat until my X arrives - one which will help resolve a series of nagging questions I've had since day 1....

How will all the stuff I've been fitting in the well of my Odyssey fit in my new X?

Just lay out your cargo mat, and then just start laying stuff out. It will be pretty obvious how everything will fit in the real thing....though may need to account for the angle of rear seat and liftgate.

It might have been mentioned or in another thread, but WeatherTech is now showing the cargo liner for the 2011 explorer.

I'm still worried about my decision to go with Husky. I just realized there is a re-stocking fee from the merchant I ordered mine from, so if they don't live up to expectations there is a cost to send them back.

Let me some up my fears by asking one question which I should have asked to get to the heart of my concerns of quality of Husky liners.

I've seen many posts in various places that mention Husky are "thin". This doesn't really bother me so long as they stay put. So there it is. When these liners are in, front seats, rear seats, etc....do they stay put? Or do they move and slide around when you get in and out and are driving? So long as they stay put, I think I'll be good. If, however, they slide around, or are prone to catching on feet and moving to any degree, then I'm going to be dissapointed.

The one nice thing about my Weather Tech liners is I really don't even know they are there (at least in the front seat). Since the rear seats have large lips, those tend to get caught more often with kids going in and out and seats being folder to accept larger loads.

If I'm going to cancel my Husky order, I think I have today to do it if needed.

That brings up the question.....Do the Husky mats make use of the OEM carpet mat anchors to stop drivers mat from slipping?

Usually the DigitalFit or LaserFit style are made so snug to the form of the floor they have no where to slip.

If you look at Mishtar's post on the second page, I think the picture shows that the Husky driver side mat does seem to have the anchor. Not 100% sure but it looks like they have something similar to the OEMs.

I put my husky mats in this weekend, the drivers side mat does have circles in the mold to fit over the snaps. However the fit is so well I doubt they will ever move.

It looks to me like its molded to go over the anchor. However, if it's molded to fit exactly (which it is), there is nowhere for it to go anyways, so the anchor is irrelivant, and a non-sealed hole would only provide a spot for water to leak through.

The anchor is not a typical hook shape. The stock mats have a circular ring attachment that snaps onto the anchor.

I am really happy with my husky liners, the coverage is better then WeatherTech(Unless they have redesigned them) . I picked Husky because I wanted full coverage up till the scuff plates.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I'm good with my choice of Husky.

In response to my inquiry about a cargo mat going back from the back of the front seat in the Sport, I received the following:

Frank,
We do not have a liner that extends past the 2nd row of seats in the Ford Explorer Sport.

Thanks for your interest!
