I say go for it if YOU like it...don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

well i never said i vouch for the performance or handling of this vehicle. i just said it looked nice and i thought it may be a nice car....i might go drive one pretty soon to see what they are all about and if i dont like it i dont like it........

Well, you have to think about it this way, the Kias and Hyundai's are throw away cars. You keep them until the warranty is gone, then you throw them away. They're pretty attractive looking (Hell the new Hyundai's look like luxury cars. I was out to dinner with a customer of mine a while back, and a truckload of Hyundai Sonatas passed us, and he asked me what kind of new Benz it was. He almost didnt believe me when I told him it was a $17,000 Hyundai. He drives a Jaguar) they're reasonably comfortable with a reasonably powerful little powerplant. Its a good youth car, which is all they market them to be.

I say go for it, it'll be a great little commuting car.

Then when you're done with it, just throw it away ;)

A co-worker of mine showed me a clip off a web site today of a HYUNDAI TIBURON where this guy dropped a turbo engine in the front and one turbo engine in the back with one transmission. I have never seen that one done before. I never new it was even possible. Talk about four wheel drive!

On street tires it made a quarter mile in like 10 and half seconds (I don't remember the exact number). It made burnout in circles. IN CIRCLES not donut! It was spinning in place! It was an amazing site.

I will have my co-worker email me the site on Monday and post it here.

I test drove a 2003 and it was the 5 spd 185hp. To be honest @185hp and this car being so light I was disappointed, it's nothing to wet your pants over. I don't even think the car has a torque rating. The car just makes a lot of noise, but doesn't really go anywhere. With me being 6'2" I had the seat all the way back with no room to spare. Honestly I was really impressed with the car until I actually sat in it and drove it. I didn't even walk in with the sales guy. I just said thanks and left.

Looks are deceiving in this case.

This is just my opinion.

Yeah the new Tiburons look nice. Sound like they have plenty of power.

Does anyone else think, they look kinda like a Mustang??? When I first saw them, I said holy ****, Hyundai made a Mustang ripoff!!!
