i am a SAS idiot and have many questions

ok i know what a SAS is but have many questions about doing one

1) is there a SAS how to on this forum?
2)if there is a SAS how to why isn't it a sticky?
3)do you have to do a SAS in order to lift your truck?
4) if you do a SAS do you have to make a 3,4,or 5 link? or can you just keep stuff close to stock

1) There is no straight-up "follow this step by step list and your SAS will be complete". There are many progress threads about what parts people used and what things they did differently than others. Get reading

3)No, several companies make suspension lift kits that dont require any axle swaps. also body lifts. Do some searching...
4) no you dont have to link I don't believe...

An SAS is not required if you just want to lift your truck, but it will improve your offroad capability. There is an entire forum on this site dedicated to solid axle swaps that members have done themselves and documented to help people like you.
