For anypne with a small child or for fun it's awesome. It fits nice on the center console between the front seats and works great on trips. Keeps the kid busy and looks cool at night. Awesome purchase!

what brand? How much did it cost?

Cool

It's a Toshiba model#MD9DM1. I paid $259.00

That was a good deal. Enjoy.

Excellent, I was thinking of the same thing for my 4-year-old. Does it come with remote and a car-adapter? What's the screen-size?

Lou.

Yes,Yes, and the screen is 9 inches diagonal.

Aren't they great. I have the kind that replaces my center console. The whole inside is an antenna so it picks up local channels. I mounted a power inverter in my X and hooked up a Playstation to it for my son when we drove from Alaska to Oregon last summer. It was great. Ours has a vcr in it combined with the playstation he could watch dvd's. I only paid 300 for the set up and I only wish I had bought the kind that mounts to the roof or in the back of the headrests. Maybe another project some time, but I don't think my Ex will be making anymore long trips.

I thought about the roof-mounted ones but I have a moonroof and it looks like the screen would have to be installed too far rearward. The headrest ones are cool too but I like the idea of portability, like MR XLT has.
BUT a PS2 would be very nice. :D

Yup

There great to have. When I don't use it in the car it goes in my daughters room and plugs into the wall. Versital as all can be.:D
