Hey all, hope this is the right place for my question. I was on a fire road and caught at least 3 feet of air in 4WDL. well, now I cant get it out of 4 low. I also can't go into reverse without peeling out in a most unsafe manner. What the hell happened? This is my new truck and it does'nt look good from my standpoint. What do you all think I did? Please give me your opinons and if there is anyone who knows what they are doing in N. Florida area, I could have it towed or let you take a look at my place. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you might have messed something up with the shift motor or possibly the transfer case or the front axle. is the front axle enagaging or are just the rear wheels spinning?

I beleive 4WD is engaged and wont come out. I drove home (10 miles) and it whined and felt like it was in 4 low still. Please keep opinions and suggestions coming. Its not drivable and I have work in a few hours.

3ft of air is generally bad you could have tweaked or broken any number of things. try tapping the t-case with a hammer and then trying to shift it into 2wd. I can't think of anything right now but if i come up with anything else ill let you know.

hey thanks for the advice, I'll try that for now.
