Everything has been changed at one point or another and I think something is just causing things to short out.
History of the problem this time. Explorer was running rich and hesitating, not sure if that is what caused the problem or not. Explorer was parked for about a month without use, Hubby went to use it, put gas in it and it would not start. Had it towed to the house where is sat for another month. We have had problems with the batteries going bad or having bad cells so he took the battery in and sure enough it was bad. Replaced the battery and it still would not start, no click, no nothing. Changed the Solenoid, still nothing, changed the starter and getting a clicking but not starting. This is the strange part of the problem. Years ago my husband was struck by lightening and he shorts out everything which is why I usually work on the car, but do to an injury I can not do it right now, and even if I could I have not idea where to start. Any ideas.
