Well ive finally bought a new truck!

its a 2003 Sport Trac, 2wd.

I want to go the more "DUB" style with it.

I dont know what size rims would look good on it. It has 16's now, but id like to throw 20's or so on it. Do you guys have any pictures of explorers with aftermarket rims?
Also, i want to put airbags on the back, but i cant find anyone who makes them. Do you guys know where i can find something? most of the stuff i find is to support heavier loads in the bed, but i just want it for cosmetic reasons, i want to be able to drive normally around town, then drop it down when im at a meet/show.

Thanks a lot guys!

Welcome to the site! You should post questions about your Sport Trac in the '95 to '01 section because its still the older design, and not the newer, independent rear suspension design that the '02 four-door Explorers have.

Check out the wheel/tire forum and use the search function to find pics. Welcome.

Even the 05 trac is non-IRS, should we still post in the 97/01 section?
Just Curious

Yes. though it is a later model year the Trac is basically a Gen II explorer (live rear axle, torsion bar front)
Heck my gen isnt even covered and I still post in all of em!

Click the link in my signature to see pics when I had 20s on my explorer. I've got 18" Cobra Rs now. As for the air bags, you'll have to get everything custom since no one makes a kit. A member on the board, Expo5.0, has bagged his and has 18s up front and 20s in back and plans to go bigger. Look in the sport truck section and you'll find him.

Makes perfect sense. If your Explorer does NOT have a solid rear axle, you belong in 2002+. If you have a live rear axle, you belong in either '91 to '94 or '95 to '01.
