Where exactly in Brooklyn did this happen. I live in Brooklyn also and this makes me not want to play my radio loud anymore. Somebody might be watching for good systems and waiting for a chance to steal them. They say I live in a good neighborhood also.

What is the difference between a 1 bit DAC (Pioneer p930) and a 20 bit DAC (Pioneer P1R)?

Let's put the DAC in terms you can understand bro:

What's the BIG diff between Windows 95/98 and Windows NT/2000/XP ??

Get it? Man, I should be a teacher.....

Also the P1R does not have those crappy on-board amps so the pre-amp section is much cleaner + built in real DSP (you need outboard amps).
The P1R is way above most people's comprehension, I won't be suprised if they stop making it.

Sideswipe, people seems to like to "hit" on you. I would just get a nice alarm system that allows you to have a pager option, which means if the alarm in your truck trips, then you know something has to be up. I probably start a hobby in baseball and photography. Have that bat handy under neath your desk for hitting those home runs and camera for the mug shots or license plates.

Thanks for the laymans explanation. BTW, they DID stop making it, Pioneer has a DEX-P9 thats replacing it. The P1R is one hard SOB to find anywhere though...
