I hate mud!

Monday night I took my rubber mallet and 3# hammer and beat off enough dry mud/dirt to fill 2 3/4 milk crates.
I spent over 2 hours washing off all the rest of the mud from this last weekend at my friends house. I had to use a shovel to remove most of it from his driveway.

I've seen Heeper owners spraying their truck with something before going offroading in muddy areas. Does anyone have a clue as to what they use to try and keep the mud from sticking?

Thanks,
John

Baby oil, tire wet, liquid silicone, tire shine, any of these really :D

I always spray Pam cooking stuff down under the wheels and the chassis, just dont spray it in your brakes, you wont slow down very well.:D It keeps mud and dirt from sticking and it makes cleaning a piece of cake!

I know what you mean. 20 minutes in the mud last November and I still have dried mud caked up underneath everywhere.

Wonder if this is the cause of your problems John?:D

Yeah, just butter-up your underside and you will be ready to go. :p

Looks like the window is down in that pick.

That trick works well on the inside of a lawnmower deck too... Definately will have to try that

In this pic, I was having fun on purpose. But, I wasn't trying that hard this last weekend and I ended up with way more mud than that time from that picture. I was being easy on my truck, saving it for the upcoming Gilmer trip.

I think I had heard that Pam works, but I wasn't sure. I think I'll go buy a couple of cans and stick them in the truck. :D

Pam is great, but after serious mudding you should be inspecting and cleaning brakes, around skid plates and various other sensitive parts. I love mud!
