I have a 05 mercury mountaineer, v6 I've been having issues with the car lately. I noticed after I had my front drivers wheel bearing replaced, when I hit the brakes sometimes it was bounce, skip kind of. It's been getting worse and today, as I pulled in my driveway, my abs light cut on and awd light at the same time, and what's weird is that the problem with my brakes stop when the light is on, and when it cuts back off the braking is shaking again. Can anyway please explain what is going in?! I had my brakes replaced in November and rotars are fine

The toe ring in the hub may be bad, the sensor in the hub may be bad, there may be a defect in the lead wire of the abs or the connection itself could be improper.

I'd suspect the new hub bearing first. You put it in or a shop.
Take it back to the shop if so, may need to warranty it out.
What brand was used?

By coincedance, another sensor may have gone out. But I'd start with the hub you just replaced.

Because a sensor is bad, the antilock system is freaking out.
