I have a new toy

About a year ago there was 3 vehicles sitting in my yard, a 2000 Dodge Ram(moms), a 74 Chevy Pickup w/ a 1973 454cu Vette motor under the hood(dads), a 92 Ford Explorer(mine). After over 130k on the rebiult engine on the Chevy, one of the lobes on the cam wore down so my dad and I pulled the motor and suprisingly the walls still had honing marks on it with no ridge. So we laid it to rest in the shed being well oiled every day awaiting for a new home such as a Camaro or GTO but thats another story. So my dad needed a work truck so my mom gave him the Dodge. Well my mom needed a vehicle so they went out to Pheonix in search of a car and came back with a wierd looking blue thing. It was a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass Designers Edition and the owner was an elderly lady that garaged it every day. It was in cherry condition. My sister hated the way it looked and my mom doesnt care what she drives so the car stayed with us. Well I thought it looked cool, kinda of an old lady cruiser, but it looked nice. I popped the hood one day and the lights from heaven shined down and into the engine bay of this car. This isn't an old lady cruiser, it's a rice burner spankin old lady cruiser! It had a 302 cu 5.0 H.O. in it, 225hp/300fpt the same ones on pre 93 Mustangs and since its been garaged it had to be fresh.
So, a couple days ago my little sister bought a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix so I dont have to drive her around any more, and since my mom doesnt drive the Mark VII any more it just sits there. My dad came into my room one day and said," I know you want that car and you wanted a car for school and we want help you any way we can, so you can have it." I was speechless and happy. So now I own an offroad vehicle and a street machine.

my old boss in michigan has one of those he garages it in the winter it was a sweet car looked practically brand new ! I think his was the same color as yours there to.

My dad wanted to put the 454 from the Chevy in it, some how?, and take the 302 out and put it in my truck. But he gave me the car instead so that works out too. I want to take it to the track and see what kind of timeslips it will pull.
