Has anyone installed an oil cooler with asandwich type adapter. I tried to install mine, but the way it fit put the rubber hoses about 3/4" away from the primary cat. I assumed that the hoses would not hold up for long near that kind of heat, and that my engine would not hold up for long without oil when the hose ruptures. Has anyone else done this or had this problem?
I just decided to order an filter relocation kit and use that. The hose fittings on that point straight down, so no clearance problems. Then I'll just runthe hose fromt he remote filter to the cooler and then back. Or should I run it to the cooler first and then the filter? Any advice?
