mmm..... ole TL1000. gotta love the twin thumpers. i almost sold my F3 to buy a TL1000R when they first came out. i miss having a bike, but i had to realize through the 8+ years of ownership that i will never be responsible enough to own one. i put 8k miles on my little F3 the first year i had it, and about 5k miles were on the back tire alone.

i love the sound... no other bike sounds like it definatly the yosh pipes give it a good loud sound too... got tons done to it... tranny done, 520 conversion, full exhaust, chip, K&N, vortex... etc... i never rode a bike with so much tourque.

lol, most 600's have a powerband similar to a 2 stroke. no bottom, very little mid, and then that crazy hit at the top. from 2000-8000 mine was a turd. from 8000-13500 it went ape ****. all i had was a Vance and Hines and rejetting.

anywhere above 4000 the tl pulls hard... 3rd gear is the worst.... i had a cbr600 smokin joe... nothing compared to this... wheelies on the tl.. .well it practicly is in one all the time effortlessly... love it.
