I Need A New System

Im currently wanting to upgrade my stereo system with maybe a 10"woofer and new door speakers. Does anyone know what amp wattage i should be looking for and if a 10" will get the job done for me in my 98 XLT.

Depends on what brand and kind of 10" that you are looking for, some can take 100 RMS and some can take 2000 RMS and over, some are DVC some are single, some are 4 ohm, 2 ohm, 6 ohm, dual 4 ohm, dual 6 ohm, 8 ohm and so on and as for if a 10" will get the job done for you you should answer that question and not ask it and have people tell you...go too a local audio shop where you can hear the stuff yourself and decide.
