i need headlight bulbs

anybody know where i can get some xenon or imitation 9007 bulbs that actually look good? websites and companys would be smooth.

silverstars

i put the silverstars in earlier this year. i cant really tell a difference except when i look down and turn my fog lights of and on. still looking for other options

go to pepboys or whatever, and get the ones that say they are for offroad use only, that arent approved for street use, yeah they are illegal, but all the best mods always are... I have the silverstars, and i think they are better than any of the otehr legal lights out there....

EXACTLY.....the silverstars are brighter & whiter than stock bulbs, the fogs are yellow colored while the silverstars are white

Yeah I got some illegals on mine, not silverstars though, They Are Real blue though! especially with my yellow fogs!

I bought the Eurolite Xenon Generation Super Plasma Bulbs (they say HID look or whatever). (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-tFQxBqgW2QJ/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=12&g=71900&I=5079007DP&o=m&a=0)

I guess they are kinda blue, maybe... They are brighter b/c Xenon is more efficient that Halogen, but they are definately not worth the $40 that stores ask for them. (Good thing I was working at Crutchfield at the time, or I would be pissed). I have had a few people flash their lights at me when I have a little luggage in the back and have the lows on, I guess that tells me that they're bright enough

But my overall thoughts would be, buy regular bulbs, and put the money towards some Hella 500's or something

xenon is better than halogen, but most of those xenon ones arent really zxenon at all, but just some imitation stuff

I had piaa platinums in my truck, they've been great.. but in only 3 years one of them is dead.. now I risk getting a ticket every time I drive around because it takes a whlie to get these.. theres only 1place in town that carries them and they're $80 for a set.. I'm considering something else. any ideas?

I dont want the "gimmick lights" at the auto stores, but I do want something at least as good as my piaas

the sylvania silverstars... they are brighter than the piaas i used to have... although, they too, are a bit pricey...about $20 a bulb.....
