I will build them before i throw 90$ at them. This is a temporary lift, Im currently sourcing parts for a 4-5'' lift. I will go with a new leafpack with a stock length shackle in the end.
For the record, there is a thread on here somewhere discussing how crappy the autozone shackles look...and how not a single person who has used them has any complaints about them, myself included.

Im with you on this one, My gf's dad in an engineer that worked for ford for a long time, and he also builds offroad rigs. He told me the only way im going to damage these shackles is if someone pulls me out of a hole sideways. Ill take his word on this one.
What i did was cut the head off the back of the bolt, then with a center punch i moved it as far as i could from the back. At this point i had about a 1/4 inch to stick a piece of pipe in the hole. Now i put a ram between the frame rails and it was pushing on one side of the frame and the piece of pipe. With lots of pressure the bolt popped out.
