I have searched with no real luck on information about doing an alignment after shackles and spacers. I realize i will need 2.75 or 3 camber adjustment bushings. What i don't know for sure is whether the toe in and caster will need changing or how to check for that without taking it in to a shop. I got a quote for $150 for an alignment with the bushing. In my opinion that is outrageous to simply point your tires in the same direction. If anyone has actually used the camber bushings themselves successfully I could really use some help or information or something. Thanks in advance.

It can be done at home and I know a fews guys here have done it. If I were you, I would do some shopping around and get it done at a reputable shop. Remember, if you are off a little, you may not notice til you have done some real damage to the tires and they will cost you at least $150 to replace.

OK, new question. Can I order the camber bushings and install them myself and then go to a shop and get an alignment for cheaper? I can get a great deal on some bushings (its actually wholesale cost) and have a friend who recently quit as a mechanic who will put them on for me. Thats the problem with 19 year olds and lifts, I was so freaking excited about finally getting my X lifted that I didn't even think if I had the cash for an alignment.

You might be able to get a better deal on the bushings I had mine done about a year ago and it cost 180 for everything. The bushings alone were 38 a piece:(

The bushings dont look that hard to install all they do is sit around the balljoint:(
