i need help on this one guys....

i have a 1993 explorer with a stock 4.0 in it. for the past year now when she is cold the exhaust smells like propane or natural gas. i just changed the oxygen sensers with brand new motrocraft ones . i pulled the cat down and she isnt clogged . what else would cause this to smell the way it does . i dont get my gas from the same station and i dont put additives in my fuel either . i had her checked at a ford dealership a few months ago and they told me all was good. oh by the way she doesnt idle smooth even after i tuned her up . she has 127,000 but doesnt use a drop of oil or smoke .

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, im at a loss at this point.

have you checked your mass air sensor (MAS) yet? It may be dirty. Or your air filter may be also.
Oh yeah, mine smells like paint thinner when I first start it up. I think it could use some fuel injector cleaner or something.
