That's factory rev limited in park and nuetral mate. A tuner like an sct x3 can remove those setting's.

where can i find thoat tuner? how to install and how much it cost? will it improve speed or anything else?

Hensonperformance.com
More hp and torque, roughly 15 and 20 I think for a V8
Plug's into the obdll port under your dash and removes the stock tune then replaces it with the custom one, piece of piss to do.
About $400 or abit less.
Do a search on here about it, awesome machines.

thanks man i will give him a call tomorrow. appreciate it!!!

No worries mate.

If you give me your PCM calibration code (passenger front door jamb sticker, 4 digit code), I can look in the software and see what your neutral rev limiter is set to.

In my 03 eddie bauer, the neutral rev limit is set to 6800. But they may have throttled that back on newer vehicles. Having a low rev limit in neutral really does no harm. It just stops somebody from banging away RPMs for nothing. Once you're in gear and floor it, it will have no effect at all on your performance. The regular rev limiter will, and in my case that's set to 6700 rpm. The tranny will shift long before that.

The SCT Xcal3 definitely adds some power and torque, not to mention a ton of datalogging and scan tool features. You can't go wrong there!
