I need help with a no start issue.

I am new member & I have a problem with a 2001 ford explorer xlt . It won't start I've tried jumping it .I heard of a fuel pump relay switch ,I'm not sure where it is located. Does anyone have some ideas of what it could be or any experience with this problem?? Thanks,

When you turn the key on, (not start the truck, just to the first click on) do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds?

The relay is under the hood in the power distribution box.
