i just wanted to tell everyone hey and hope to talk to someone soon.i have a few questions i need to ask about a 96 ford explorer. how do you remove transmission pump and replace pump seal

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the transmission section. You have to remove the bell housing in order to get to the bolts holding the gear driven pump. A special pump alignment tool is needed to assemble the pump prior to installation.

Is it possible to bolt tc to flywheel with just the bellhousing attached to it (no tranny, just bellhousing) then bolt the bellhousing to the block, then spin tc a few times, then tighten transmission pump to bellhousing, to bypass the alignment tool?

In my previous post I would only be installing bellhousing to block temporarily just to allign pump. If the torque converter is bolted to flywheel and seated in bellhousing pump gear/shaft, and bellhousing is bolted to block, wouldn't that allign the pump gears, allowing me to bolt transmission pump bolts tight. Then I would take bellhousing back off block and bolt onto transmission then reinstall transmission as usual.
