i rolled my truck last night.

well last night me and a few friends were driving over to a buddys house, going down a two lane road, as a car was coming near we noticed the other car was driving like an idiot, right as were about to pass eachother, he swerves into my lane, i cut the wheel and went into the field, it rolled twice and landed on drivers side. [ as we flipped the truck was going inbetween 40-45. the other car just kept going and took off. i didnt even bother calling the police becuase i couldnt even see what kind of car it was, and didnt bother to look for a plate number as i was flipping, and i only have liability. so heres the pics! oh and by the way me and everyone else were okay, we got out and flipped the truck back over more pics to come later

I'm glad everyone is OK. The X appears to have held up surprisingly well based on the pictures you posted. You should be able to get both windows and the mirror from a junkyard for less than $200. I've never replaced a front window or mirror, but the rear windows are really easy. If it was me, I wouldn't worry about the fender unless I found a really good deal on one that was already painted to match.

thanks guys, the initial roll was on the driver side, and after the first one it went halfway around and landed on the driver side again. it took 5 people to get back upright. and it started right up! the tire blew on it, but i pulled out the jack out and lowered the spare. and slapped it on. it held up very well. i really dont think i can ever part ways with this X.

Things could have been much worse... thankfully you were paying attention and driving defensively. Rolling the truck means you & your friends are still alive and walking.

Head-on collision at 40-45mph likely could have had a different outcome.

well im getting ready to order a new fender only 111.99 with shipping. [primer black] i was planing on painting the truck anyway. im going to the junkyard monday to pick up 2 windows. that truck is a champ! it has been through hell and back.

For rolling it 2 times (or 1 3/4) it looks like it held up REALLY well.

well im getting ready to order a new fender only 111.99 with shipping. [primer black] i was planing on painting the truck anyway. im going to the junkyard monday to pick up 2 windows. that truck is a champ! it has been through hell and back.

Wait until you go to the junkyard before you order the new fender, you should be able to get one there for much cheaper and if you get lucky you may be able to get one the correct color. And it won't be a crappy aftermarket fender, it will be an original Ford part. Well probably.

i had to take off my fender on christmas due to a little accident it wasnt too difficult except for one last bolt that took me a while to find. whered you find the new fender for 119?

Holy **** man THANK GOD nothing more than that and nothing more to you happened also its good to know that thats all the truck has in damage thats nothing now you can make a project out of it ebay those fenders and mirrors glad you and your boy are ok...and by the way glass is usually covered even by liability with no increse in rates call your insurance company and ask them a general question dont give your info cause then it will go on record...good luck

Wow man glad to see your okay, I cant believe the LITTLE damage that thing has!
Explorers are great...and yea, check eBay for the mirrors, idk about glass and whatnot, hell you could get the mirrors with the puddle lights in them and come out of this a step ahead : (The mirrors with puddle lights are plug and play) (They come on with your interior lights, and when you unlock it with the fob and whatnot, they light up the outside for you lol)

mine came with the puddle lights i found a new fender on autoparts train or carparts wholesale.

the scariest part of all was when it stoped flipping, my foot was caught inbetween the floor and the gas, and it was still in drive for about 10 seconds redlining before i slipped my foot out of my shoe and turned the truck off. i had to crawl out of the passenger side window. im so glad it didnt land upside down.
