I think this is a great "WHOOPS". I know I felt pretty red in the face, seeing the picture.

In the "Novice Bash" at our RC race track, I ended up in third place (my best finish yet) even though I didn't manage to finish the race. (My wife, Tammy, came in fouth, 1 lap down.)

I would have placed better, but on the last lap took a jump wrong, my HPI Nitro MT (with the Explorer Sport Trak body!!) did a lawn dart impression and snapped the front A-arm. As you can see, the competition was fierce.

Oh well. It was fun and will make a good story around the camp fire.

So what are the planned mods? Solid front axle? that would rock... how about another 3/4 lift? (as in 3/4 of an inch... not 3 front 4 rear)

Looks like some stiff competition!

Yeah, thanks Joe. :p

I've actually had to lower truck for racing. Around the house I use big mud-claw looking tires. Let's see, 1/10th scale... My mudders would be about 40" (LOL).

They're so big, they screw up my gear ratio and leave me with no torque. So for better accleration on the race track, I switch to little racing tires, that are much more grippy and only... umm... a bit over 30" to scale.

ccan't see the pics :(

Where's the pic?

Sorry, my domain is down. I'll get the pic back up as soon as my domain resolves again.
