when i first bought my x it handled like crap imo. lots of body roll and lots of sway. new shocks and add-a-leaves in the back fixed it. rode like a whole new truck. u could go wider on tires and get wider wheels or wheels with less back spacing to widen it up some.

just slow down.

Sway bars make a huge difference.. I run them with new Energy Suspension Polyurethane bushings and my lifted X handles better than stock...

sway bars, bigger tires, better/stiffer shocks

bah, handlin is for sports cars, 10" of lift and no sway bars!

Do you run sway bars f/r? If not, thats the most logical place to start. Par from that you could try some adjustable shocks, rs9000's come to mind and set em real stiff.

But MCdavises advice is the best of all, drive slower. Put it this way, I now never have to worry about getting a speeding ticket.

im only running a front sway bar, until i reinstall my rear one, but if i would just get a thicker front sway bar, would that increase my handling? any brands that are better then the rest? or should i just get the thickest on? bigger tires? i have 33x10.5 now, you really think goin to 33x12.5 will make that much difference handling wise?

There is a world of difference between a 33x10.5 and a 33x12.5... Vehicle track width will be 4" greater  which will make your ride much less tippy.

This also was part of my quest as my truck grem more offroad worthy. Hopw to make it handle like stock or better in the city.

It's close now
-Try any of the Velocity valved shocks.(Edelbrock, Monroe reflex, Rancho RSX) Or get some Rancho 9000's to dial them in (My next purchase)
-Explorer Express sway bars..........A huge improvement, and it only taskes a couple minutes per bar at the trailhead to drop the links.......
- Energy Suspension Bushings. These are throughout my rig, and though I can't say that they made a huge difference they helped
-wider tires will also help, but I have front suspension rub issues with a 12.5 so I stuck with the 10.5 for now.

well i think im goin to order a front sway bar then
