I want to upgrade my sterio but is there any way to keep the rear controlls

Is there anyway i can buy a new head unit and wire in the rear controlls or can i order a newer head unt from ford if so how much is a new ford head unit i have a 95 xlt no cd palyer

for the most part.. the answer is no. you will lose the controls for the rear. Im sure if you really really really wanted them, you could figure out how to wire them, or search online for something already made that will make it a plug and play. but what do you really need the back controls for?

The answer is yes. They make an adapter so you can use your rear controls but they are expensive. IMO it is not worth it because nobody but me touches my stereo anyways. You can go to any Best Buy and their install bay should be able to order them for you.
