2002 sport trac
Guys, I came here for info on my 02 sport trac motor replacement and the info I gathered here has helped me revive my truck. My #5 cylinder dropped a valve and destroyed my engine 240K, so I wasn't mad. but when I looked for a used replacement I could only find ones with 100K+, that did make me mad. Thankfully I found this forum and you wonderful people. After some reading here I found out that the mustang v6 will fit with little effort. I bought an 08 mustang motor (17K miles)and did the swap. Truck runs better than new! THANK YOU EXPLORERFORUM and all of the people who make the information available, you saved me some time and money!

Now if I could only get the high speed sway out of it! LOL, one thing at a time.

The forum has saved me a ton of cash and that's why I have no problem renewing my Elite membership each year.
The sway issue can be answered here as well. Upgraded sway bar and new end links would be a great start.
