IAC question

i took off the IAC valve today to try and clean it out a little due to rough idle at times and just cause. well i did that, then put it back on, and now its making a noise like the horn in those ricola commercials. it goes away if i loosen the valve and pull the back of it away from the intake, but then it runs rough and i cant tighten it. any idea's.

LOL, love that description... horn in those ricola commercials.. thanks for that laugh, made me feel a little better.

IAC valves are pretty cheap and widely available at any parts store thankfully.. good luck .
