so in my 92 i have a system,
and i also have the little empty pocket in the rear cargo area.
so what i'm thinking is somehow create a little tool space back there.

what i was thinking of using is like little clamps, in different sizes to hold the different sizes tools...all your basic ones, screw drivers, alan wrenchs, wire cutters....few other small things

where could i find little clamp things that come in various sizes that would screw in place and hold individual tools?

does anyone know what i'm talking about doing....i'm sure someone has thought of it before......

if you guys have any ideas, spit them out i want to do this very soon,

if anything i'll go to lowes i'm sure i'll find something that will work
but i need ideas on maybe what to look for

thanks
ryan

Any hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Sears......shall I go on?

hartman was my explaination of what i am looking for good?

because i'm gonna go in there and ask them where i could find things like that........and i need to know if thats a good enough decription of what i need.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Then again, there are some pretty senseless people working at these places. Just look for it yourself.

oh gosh i know!!!
i'll ask first maybe they can put me in the general area.
if they say they don't, i'll look myself and probably find it.

i hope my friend is working at lowes today!

i'm off to lowes!

I am afrade your tool idea will cause all kinds of rattles.

Sears is another source for the clips.

Another way is to use small bungee cord. You just drill 2 hole and run your cord through both and secure it to the back side. If you have ever been on a Snap-On truck they do this with the tool on the ceiling

i did it.

to hold the small alan wrenchs i used 3 small eye bolts per wrench.

to hold my screw driver and flash light i used what is best decribed as a hanging wall mount that would hold a broom or shovel,

and to hold my wire cutters and plyers i used some , i think pipe holders deals, its like semi circle with a hole on each end.. the handles of the tools just slide right in...

total cost 5 bucks at true value
not bad and it looks nice everything seems real secure...now i wont' have to search for my tools when need them, i'll try to get some pics soon.

thats what i did before,
but i got tired of not having the room for other stuff.
