Idea for pealing Applique

The factory coating on the Applique's on my 03 explorer has started to peel so i came up with an idea to fix it and give my explorer a different look. I mostly decided on my method because we have painted a few sets of these at work and it is a pain to sand off the factory coating and it doesnt feather well. So what i'm going to do with mine is wrap them. I ordered a roll of 3d Carbon Fiber Vinyl wrap. As soon as it shows up i will wrap them and get some pictures posted.

I decided to wrap my fuel door to see how i liked the product. Sorry for the poor picture. it makes it look striped but it is carbonfiber.
