For the last week or so my idle gets really rough, and last night it died at a stop light. It doesn't happen all the time, it is almost like it cycles, and at a certain point, it all the sudden idles rough.

Is this a vaccuum leak or something?

Please HELP ME...

Thanks,
Scott

I have this problem on my '92. Don't know what causes it. It will sort of jerk back and forth when I idle, and on rare occasions the engine will just cut off. However it doesn't seem to be having any major effects on the car. Just an annoying quirk, I think.

Could be a vacuum leak, could be a dirty IAC or throttle body, or who knows what. I would certainly check for vacuum leaks. I would also pull codes (whether the check engine light is on or not) and check the fuel pressure.
