Idle stalling problem.

Hello, i was wondering if anybody had problems with idle, every now and then my 95 explorer 4.0 would stall at idle, it will run if i hold accelerator in a little to get going and it will fix itself after driving for a couple of miles. it only does this when temps are high outdoors. thanks

IAC valve & MAF sensor

I suggest that you clean the IAC valve and the MAF sensor. You can purchase MAF sensor cleaner at your local auto supply store.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. I agree that you should clean those two parts. Replace the fuel filter too.
