If You're Still Driving On Firestones, Read This!!!!

Actually, both my front tires had that same line in them that kilroy's has, though I can't say that had anything to do with the one falling apart. When I noticed my other front tire showing the same wear pattern on the inside as the first I replaced all of them.

kilroy,
You can not have pictures link to an "FTP" site.
you need to be able to view them so have them on your personal web page then you can link them to a post here on the Explorer Forum. if you need a place to post them on the Web, try http://www.Photopoint.com

I was in a rush, and I don't have full access ftp to my server for security reasons, and I didn't take the time to VPN into my server to upload the files directly to the image directory. I will do that next time, I just wanted to get these posted quickly. :)

OK I moved the pics and edited my earlier post, but they stil only come up every other one. When I right click and view properties, the part for the image directory reads im%20%20age.

those "%20" are spaces, they should not be there!
take them out and it should work.

Thats just it, there aren't any spaces. They are all identical, the only difference is the number or the picture. Must be a Microsoft glitch. :D

Heres the URLs

OK now I am confused! I am now looking at the edit, and there are NO spaces between the gr & and, nor between the / & images!

firestones

Thanks to all the info on site I got rid of my Firestones before anything happened to me or a loved one. I replaced all four a month ago. One was ok. One was semi-ok. Two didn't really look like tires - separated tread, bubbles, etc. I now ride on BFG AT ko's & like everyone else absolutely love them. If there is so much information out there about how bad the Firestones are, how can they keep making them, let alone any buy them?

Tires & Wheels

I may be the "one in a million":
My '97 came with Wilderness HT tires and they not only rolled for 90,000 miles, requiring no rebalance but, they still had plenty of tread! It was the front end alignment that slipped up on me and wore the inside to the wire. Since then, I have tried GoodYear and Continental with limited satisfaction. The original Wilderness HT's were, by far, the best riding and most trouble free of all. I still have the two from the rear, thinking I will use them on a boat trailer. I'm at 225,000, about to need new tires and if Walmart (price, convenience, locations everywhere I travel) sold Firestone, I would go back.

HAHA. For your first post you posted on a thread that is 3 years old. Welcome to the site.
