Ignition Lock cylinder removal

I took them out before by turning the switch to on and sticking a pin in the lock to remove the whole thing. Now this EX :confused: Me so bad that I can't get it out ..Please help.. 92 EB 4 door deville..

that is all you have to do.

1/8 inch drill is what i use.
 












i had a brain fart and was thinking f150.

i have the ford manual and it shows the steering wheel is off, remove the str. column shrouds, put key to run, batt disconnected, in park push the lock removal pin 1/8" and pull out cylinder.

Hello....I have a 91 Exploder with a stuck key in on dilema...could you possibly send a photo of the hole for releasing the lock. I have a new switch...just can't see the hole. Mine is a Std. wheel...no tilt. Thanks...Chuck...........

im having the same trouble i had replaced my starter and still just got a click from the relay on the fender so i replaced that and still just a click so i tryed using a screw driver and starting it from the starter and bamm started right up i then tested thr relay bam no problems but my ignition lock has always felt lose can nayone send me pictures of how the heck to get it out
 






Search, there was a recent post on a ignition cylinder that had the pic posted.
 






The pin hole is under the key, under the steering coloumn shroud at about a 45* angle. It is not on the face of the key cylinder, but built into the metal part that it inserts into.

I did mine in a parking lot with a pen... No big deal once you locate the hole. Just look directly under the key and you'll see it.
