Lockers are fairly pricey, I think?? If you call around to the wreckers in the area you might find a pair of L/S carriers. That would be decent enough compared to a 1 wheel peel,(open diff.)
What do you want to use your truck for? mostly street driven or trails only? Give us lots of info and then people here can help you out more. there are tons of different lockers and what you want will depend on what you want to do with the truck
Alright, correct me if I'm wrong, but a limited slip up front could work the same as a selectable locker in that when you engage 4X4 and power is pushed to the front wheels, then and only then does the limited slip engage. Otherwise, it acts as independent neutral wheels rolling for turning, cornering, etc. So, you could theoritically (sorry for the big word, I'll post dictionary.com link at the end ) have a selectable locker up front for round 2-300 bucks, and put one in the rear to have the capability of actual 4 wheel drive by engaging 4X4. Does this sound about right? I see no need in buying ARBs or Electracs if you can get the same results for a 1/4 of the price.
