My name is Ryan, I have an 04 Explorer XLT. Today is the first day I started looking for suspension upgrades and I thought what better way to obtain information than to join a forum. I'm also a member of a couple of BMW forums so I'm familiar with how to use them. On the down side I really don't have the time to go through all of the threads to find what i need specifically. I have emailed tech support at 4 wheel parts regardind my problem. I have had truuble finding a suspension lift kit for my SUV, I've noticed there are not many late model explorers with suspension lifts. I was wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge on this topic? I live on the coast and drive through sand a lot. So salt and sand are a factor. I'm also planning a trip that has a 60 mile treck down a shoreline with super soft and hard packed sand, that actually requires a 4x4 at the acess point. If any of you are familiar with surfing in Port Mansfield, Texas, you know what im talking about. There will be highway driving involved on the trip as well as the daily driving through town and to work. Dual capabalities are preffered. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Ryan.:exp:
